part two
day 4:
We climbed up two different inactive volcanoes. it was, again, freezing because we were approximately 700m above ground level. We went to few different spots in the volcano and take records of its temperature, soil texture, amount of trees, height of trees and some more i can’t think of. In one of the volcanoes, there was a little church in the middle of the big crater. It was because in the old days, they didn’t have censors like us nowadays to find out whether a hazard’s going to happen or not. They believed by putting a church there, they could pray to God to prevent volcanic explosions.
day 5:
Woke up very early in the morning again, about 6 and be ready at 8 to head to Barcelona. We only spent half a day in Barcelona to do Urban Studies, where we do surveys about the vehicles, houses and pedestrians. Wasn’t a long day. At about 3pm, we drove back to Madrid.
