international award
International Award is an expedition divided into three sections; Bronze, Silver, Gold.
Since I’m a beginner, I took the Bronze. Basically, it’s all about walking and camping. We walked from school to a desert area for four hours. Passing building constructions, waving drivers and smelly tunnels.
In groups of 3 to 6, we stopped for plenty of times to sign off in checkpoints where there would be a teacher waiting for bottles of water to refill our bottles. We carried a rucksack each with clothes, food, tents and more.
Set up our own tent. My group was the one with least food! We only brought noodle cups for dinner and cereal bars, while others brought meat, sausages, rice, haha!
total failure, but the teachers were amazed. This is so going to the year book! haha
Had to end in a night only ;’( oh well, it’s still bronze practice. Can’t wait for the real one, and the silver one! (:
